Hello everyone! Welcome to week five of social distancing.
I hope you are well. Please continue to take care of yourselves. I miss seeing all of you every day but stay safe … stay home.
Hopefully, my web site has made it a bit easier to access your information needed for assignments…
https://lweatherly.weebly.com
Remember to pay close attention to the “Lesson Plans” tab and the “Class Information” tab. All links are hot. All you need to do is click on them and they will take you to the site. I will still post on Schoology, send out the email distribution lists with the information as well, so this will give you three ways of accessing the assignments. Use whichever is the easiest for you. Also, do not forget to pull up a word document, type your writing prompts and your grades for your assignments, attach it to an email, and send it to me.
I have and will continue to respond to each and every email that you send to me; however, beginning this week (Monday, April 20, 2020), I will be available for online email consultation Tuesday through Friday from 11 to 11:30 am if you need an immediate response to a question. I am also going to be using Microsoft teams to invite you to speak to me face to face on Mondays from 11 to 11:30. I will also be inviting Ms. Garlock and Mrs. Smiley if you have any questions for them.
For those of you who have been answering the riddle and the Saturday Silly on Padlet, you have noticed that I have added Figurative Language Friday. For those of you who have not joined us yet, join now. You will find your class codes at https://lweatherly.weebly.com
The classwork that began on Monday, April 13, 2020, and that will extend to the end of school in May, will be placed on an Essential Skills Distance Learning Spreadsheet for Mr. Matlock to use in determining remediation when we get back to the physical school building, hopefully, in the fall. So, please do your work.
Along with the continuation of poetry writing this week, you will have a chance to complete what you were unable to the week of April 13 to the 17 which includes the following:
Again, I will be making phone calls this week to those of you I have not heard from in a while or at all.
Take care!
