Hello everyone! Welcome to week seven of social distancing.
I hope you are well. Please continue to take care of yourselves. I miss seeing all of you every day but stay safe … stay home … wash those hands!
Hopefully, my web site has made it a bit easier to access your information needed for assignments…
https://lweatherly.weebly.com
Remember to pay close attention to the “Lesson Plans” tab(Lesson Plans 7 May 4 to 8) and the “Class Information” tab (Email 7). All links are hot. All you need to do is click on them and they will take you to the site. I will still post on Schoology, send out the email distribution lists with the information as well, and I have added them to our team, so this will give you three other ways of accessing the assignments. Use whichever is the easiest for you. Also, do not forget to pull up a word document, type your writing prompts and your grades for your assignments, attach it to an email, and send it to me.
Email office hours for immediate response … T, W, Th, F …11 to 11:30 am
Office hours through Microsoft Teams (face-to-face) … Monday … 11 to 11:30 am. Send an email to me and let me know if you would like to live chat, and I will send you an invitation on Monday around 11 am. Open up Microsoft Teams for a live chat.
The classwork that began on Monday, April 13, 2020, and that will extend to the end of school in May, will be placed on an Essential Skills Distance Learning Spreadsheet for Mr. Matlock to use in determining remediation when we get back to the physical school building, hopefully, in the fall. So, please do your work. Thanks to all who are!
Remember … everyone who posts on the date of the riddle, Saturday Silly, and Figurative Language Friday on Padlet will receive one point. Plus, whoever answers correctly will receive another point. So, at the end of April, whoever had the most points will receive a McDonald's gift certificate in the mail … Block 1: Alexis Lowe; Block 3: Laken Hunt; Block 4: Michael Deojay. Congratulations! Points will start all over on May 1, so start checking in on Padlet.
Take care!
